Physical therapists, i salute you

so i’ve had this ITB problem, finally got referred to a physical therapist for it, had my second appointment today. at the first appointment, the pt showed me what stretches i should be doing. today, he showed me how to optimize my stretching, then spent 15 minutes stretching out my hamstrings. by the end, my feet were numb and my eyes were tearing. but afterwards, for the first time since grade school, i was able to touch my toes. in a way, it was cathartic.

i may soon be able to start running and biking again. hell, i’d even settle for climbing stairs without a limp. three chairs for my physical therapist!
