Thanks to wave starts, rarely are clock pics right. I’ve got one I “need” to fix, but strangely, my quieries “changing finish clocks” in the help function comes up with nuttin.
Is this easy to do or should I skip it?

I bet if you post the pic and the time you want, you will get your solution, you might get a lot of other shit to but call that the price for this service.
PM me

I’ve never gone under 11 hours at Ironman but now I might just photoshop my time on the photos to do that.
Great idea.
I can edit out the time I wasted during 2 punctures in last years Ironman. Sweet already gone 11 minutes faster.
you should be able to cut and paste some of the segments of the elements that are lit to different layers to get your desired result. or you could create boundaries around the correct elements and fill them with color from the lit elements. hopefully the clock photo is taken looking straight so the cut and paste method should work.
LOL. I’ve photoshop’d a finish photo clock before.
Those mechanical clocks sometimes are in the middle of changing numbers… my one photo… the numbers were all garbled in mid-switch.
It was my best finish photo ever though… so I managed to hack the time together…

Uh, yes. No clue how to do that, thus why I’m asking.
I’d start by finding a picture of a person who finished at your desired time. If you have access to this picture, it will be much easier as you can cut out the entire clock and paste it into your picture; if the angle, lighting, etc. are close enough to be acceptable.

And if only I could figure out how to do that! Photshop suuuuuuuuuuucks. Not even remotely intuitive, and very simple things… aren’t.
Is this a race were there are finish photos of everyone? Or are you trying to adjust a picture a friend took? If there are finish pictures of everyone, you’ll have to figure out a way to get the rights to the picture in order to copy off it. Can you digitally purchase the “other” photo?
Another way is to erase the clock that displays the wrong time, then simply insert text(numerals) in the blank spot. You’ll have to look for a while for the font and color that closely represents the finish clock, but they are out there.
What is the finish product you’re after? A blow up that is printed out? Then you’ll have to do a really detailed job. A small print or digital pic you can get away with less detail work.
Official pics. I’d need to convert a 2 into a 0. And I could piece it together from other numbers, but it’s just a royal pain in Photoshop.
I don’t care about photoshopping my finish time, but it would be cool to make my thighs skinnier… and maybe I could be a few inches taller. ![]()
I don’t either, but the recipient of the pic does.
this type of thing is easy in photoshop providing you know how to use the program. It is one of, if not, the most powerful and complex pieces of software going around. Which version are you using? CS2?

You ain’t kiddin, brother!
Yes, CS2.
Use Paint. It is easy; low tech; and already on your computer. I’ve done it before.
Open the picture in Paint. Zoom all the way in on the digit you want to change. Copy & Paste the portion of the number you want to change.
Seriously, post it. We should have a contest. I’ll definitely submit my ps skills.

Here’s is a quick re-touch I did on my time. It could be better with a little more time. But overall it’s pretty good.
All I did is went into ASI. Grabbed my pic and a couple of the guys right before me. Then cut out the numbers I wanted.
It’s important to keep the angle of the picture and the lighting similiar or it won’t work.
Dan

looks pretty good…did you go 9:20 or 10:20? Congrats either way,
Umm… I doubt he’s adding an hour to his time!?! ![]()
