Makes me wonder if she’s coating it in like rainex or something that potentially makes her more slippery on the bike? I’ve noticed it a lot from her now that I think about it.

I think she just douses herself a lot more thoroughly than the others. Probably old habit from Kona racing vs. the ITU folks who seem to use water on the run like they are being charged by the ounce.

@dfru Sad to hear of your injuries (assume) caused by a truck driver a couple of days after this comment and sincerely hope you recover strongly with all the support you need. And come back on here when fit so to do as part of rehab.

Thanks so much! I am recovering. Blessed with the injuries I do have to come back from given the circumstances at the accident - trauma CPR and some issues with the heart being shifted, but I think everything will potentially be full recovery. Will just take a little while. Now I’m Hayden Wilde but a complete tib/fib fracture to recover from…
