I am traveling to Phoenix, Arizona for business Monday through Friday this week. I am staying at the Sheraton Wildhorse Resort in Chandler (near Phoenix, 10 miles away). I need a relatively cheap place to swim. I have done IMAZ 2x but always swam at Tempe Town Lake.
Peace out!
Just out myself recently! The best place to swim bar none is the Scottsdale community Center. They had two outdoor pools and probably 25 lanes. The amazing part of the deal was it was only 2 dollars to swim. Well worth it!
Not sure with directions but go to their website and check it out.
The City of Scottsdale pools are a good bet for $2, but ASU is closer if you want to make one of their organized workouts:

Also- if you need a bike to rent, check in with Kevin at Tribe Multisport. I traveled to Scottsdale on business a couple weeks ago, and Crikey put me onto them. Great shop with great people, and really reasonable rental rates. I got a couple good rides in at South Mountain, which is a beautiful spot with no traffic just south of downtown Phoenix. Great spot for a brick if you need to make that happen, too. Worth the drive down there, even if you have to drive twenty miles - you’ve gotta be up at 5am for a workout anyway with the heat, and traffic’s not bad at that time. Drink water and enjoy.

ASU SUNdevils masters $6 drop in fee I believe per workout. M & W they have the tri group after regular masters so you can get in more yardage if so inclined. practice is at 6am (I think) 12:10 and 6pm M-F but at different pools. PM me if you want info on ASU Sun Devil masters.
