Can someone recommend a first rate tri-specific bike fitter in the Philadelphia metro area?
Cadence? … or are they overrated?

Elite is the best.
Paul Levine- it is a little bit of a ride but he is clearly head and shoulders above all others. David from elite sends his clients to Signature cycles.

Cadence Cycling for me. They’ll do a build fit or a retro fit on your bike. I am very happy with their work.

David Greenfield retro-fitted me on my old tri bike and a few months later I bought a razor carbon. He’s not only a fitter, he’s the founder/owner of the company and designs/manufactures his own bikes.
elite bicycles in philly…david greenfield. worth every penny.
Elite. Period. Dave is without argument one of the top three fitters on the East coast.
If I was buying from Elite I’d use them, but for me and my cervelo it was Cadence - great shop, great wrenches, great fit.

What Ed said. Tim
i had dave at Elite fit me on my cervelo p3. top notch job. i love my new position and i run faster off it. the fit is guaranteed and you can go back to have dave check you out, i did once and he raised my seat up a bit to get me some more power. anyway, funny, easy going dudes and they’ll tune up your bike while you’re there ![]()

How much $ for a fitting there?
i seem to recall it being in the 300-350 range, but give them a call / email and they’ll reply quickly.
Okay, I have worked with some of the top fitters in the world, and without a doubt David Greenfield is one of the best fit specialist on the planet. To consider anyone else you are selling yourself short and will get only a half rate fit with any of the aforementioned fitters. Please do yourself the favor and go to David, plus you are entering a subculture in tri that you will only benefit from, not only long term financially, but in support. He truly cares above all else the quality of fit and making money as aposed to others is not the bottom line to him. their is a reason he uses 5 stars for his logo, it is truly the most top notch service you could ever get.
OK. Cool.
So, what about his rides, Elite Bicycles? Are they as good as he is?
yes!
