Anybody have any experience with this Lake Geneva Extreme Sports race on July 23? I am signed up for my first olympic tri and won’t be able to scope out the course. ANyone have insights?
This particular race director does not have a great reputation in the area for puting on the most quality races. The lake pewaukee race is also his third race on three consecutive weekends I am not sure even the best race directors could handle that type of load.

Anyone know if it is hilly?
I was in the water there about a week ago. it’s pretty warm and has relatively few weeds. however, since it’s in the milwaukee metro area, the lake sees a ton of boat traffic. maybe it was a bad day, but there is a film from oil and gas on that lake.
never done this race but i checked out the map a couple weeks ago. short hills at first on the bike, flat on one side of the lake and then wisconsin flat as you head north and east. gradual hill then with a nice downhill southeast back to the lake.
pewaukee has a nice little area there on the lake. two great restaurants (one might be dinner only). plenty of hotel space within minutes.
Yep, did their Kenosha race last year…no water on the run. The best intent. not the best organization.
