Where’s a good place to stay? Most hotels seemed booked up, at least online… What’s the camping like and is there anywhere like a 30 min drive from the race site that anyone knows about?

You could try checking out if any of the nearby B&Bs still have vacancies - Lakefield and Norwood are both close to Peterborough (if I’m remembering correctly, the bike course turns around at or about Norwood, Lakefield is a beautiful little town about 15 minutes drive from Peterborough that nestles several lakes and the Trent Canal). I grew up in Lakefield and the B&Bs there are usually in gorgeous little Victorian homes on the water. There is also a bike path that connects Lakefield with Peterborough
