Are you taking bets?
I hope so. I’m still recovering from the depression of Dave Harju holding off Vabrosek and Marques at IM Wisconsin ![]()
Normann came past 9.5 miles about 10 minutes ago and still no sign of anyone else. He looked good and smooth and not pressing. I hope he can hold on.
Natasha just went the other way at mile 1 running pretty well.

I wouldn’t bet against Reid & Badman winning.
Stadler & Kraft would have to blow up…but…
It will be close.
Given that Kraft is proven to run steady at Hawaii and also ran 3 hours at Frankfurt, my money is still on her vs anyone else in the field. As I type at 7:18 into the race, Stadler can only lose if he starts to walk…always a possibility. He has to run over a min per mile slower than Reid and just under a min per mile slower than Faris.
With 19 miles to go, Kraft has 14 min, so she can lose around 45 seconds per mile and then we end up with a sprint finish ! Seems unlikely !
