I think this will blow over pretty quickly. The italian cyclist caught on tape getting injected with what is supposedly EPO is probably a bigger story.
Maybe the episode you are talking is not from cycling and not EPO, but instead Fabio Cannavaro who injected the muscle building Neoton. Cannavaro si the captain of the Italian football (real football a.k.a. soccer) World Champions and voted the World’s best footballer 2006 ahead of Zidane and Ronaldinho. Neoton is very common in Italian football according to one of Cannavaro’s former teammates from Parma. Neoton is not on the doping list, but Finn Mikkelsen from Anti Doping Denmark still think it’s unetical to inject you with anything regardless if it’s banned or not. He continues to the the effect of Neoton is very doubtful.
