Personalizing your wetsuit

Maybe this is a strange question, but I just purchased my first wetsuit (03 QR Ultrafull) and was wondering if anyone ever personalized their wetsuits (on the outside) to better identify them or possibly keep them from being stolen. Has anyone ever done anything like airbrushing a logo or graphic on a wetsuit? Or could you use some type of paint/marker to mark the arms/legs/neck, etc.—nothing stupid, but maybe as simple as an arm cuff or barely visible personal logo?

Not trying to make a fashion statement at all, but I’d hate to lose it or have someone pick it up by mistake.

Thanks,

Keith

i picked up a sanford “mean streak” (link)marking stick and used it on the inside of my wetsuit. worked pretty well but is pretty cumbersome for this non-artist to make look good. comes in a few colors. it seems to be fading a little but can easily be reapplied. hope this helps.

In case anyone else is curious, I received this info from QR:

"The only type of paint that sufficiently sticks to neoprene is the QR logo printed on the chest piece by a professional screen printer. This ink has a patent and is not sold in stores.

Any type of airbrush paint or paint markers (UNI PAINT MEDIUM LINE PX-20), used to make a logo or graphic will not permanently stick to the neoprene. These paint substances when put on the outside of the wetsuit will uniquely identify your suit; however, the paint can be removed (smear and look sloppy) by a typical store bought thinner.

Point: There is no paint substance you can find to permanently stick to your wetsuit. If you choose to customize your wetsuit with a paint substance, it may look sloppy when you take it off. Using a white paint marker to write your initials on the outside of your wetsuit will not void QR’s two year warranty."
