Oh, the life and times of Perry.GOP should not fall into the trap of being proudly ignorant
Perry, apparently deciding to make ads for the Obama campaign, came out with a series of “See how dumb I am?” one-liners. He observed that he needed to pull out a dictionary to see what “convocation” meant. The next knee-slapper: He didn’t have the grades to be a vet, so he became a pilot. And then the real howler: He was in the top 10 in a high school class of 13.
i don’t know what convocation means
.
i don’t know what convocation means
Then you are qualified to be the GOP presidental nominee.
i don’t know what convocation means
Whatever you do don’t look it up, that makes you an idiot.
I only know this because I did some time as a Catholic and if I recall it was used regularly when referring to various gatherings of clergy. I think it can be used to describe other gatherings as well…I may be wrong though…I’d have to look it up ![]()

Give Perry a break. He was a democrat at one time. It takes a little time to rebuild his intelligence after something like that.
I would like to point out that it’s very hard to find someone here in Texas that likes Perry. Sure people will vote for him but he wins because Texas is a Republican state and there are enough people who will vote “Anyone but a Democrat!” for him to stay in office. Politics, what a stupid game played by people with huge egos and little ideas supported by scared sheep.
Mean while our country is going into to deeper debt at a rate of about 4 billion dollars a day!
S-T-U-P-I-D !!!
Good luck next generation:-(
what kind of marks did Barry get?

Looks like the dems are still way ahead:
Dorothy Ann Willis Richards (September 1, 1933 – September 13, 2006) was an American politician from Texas. She first came to national attention as the state treasurer of Texas, when she delivered the keynote address at the 1988 Democratic National Convention. Richards served as the 45th Governor of Texas from 1991 to 1995 and was defeated for re-election in 1994 by George W. Bush. Ann Richards was the second female governor of Texas, and the 39th Democratic governor to serve.
Good enough to earn a law degree, with distinction, from an Ivy League university. I know BK would have us believe those honors are passed out at graduation like condoms in a frat house, but if that’s the case, I’d expect to see those accolades on every GOP candidate’s resume.

Don’t you live in Austin? Of course you won’t find many in your circle who like Perry. Most won’t vote for anyone who has an R behind their name. That being said, I would prefer you keep Perry.
Yeah but does he wear a cap backwards?
What does it mean to have a law degree with distinction?
Distinction of being in the top 1%?
Distinction of being in the top 10%?
Distinction of being in the top 25%?
Distinction of being in the top 90%?
Good question. Sounds like something you could google, if you’re really curious about it.
Do you even know that, have you seen his marks, or are you just repeating something?
My google says:
cum laude = with honorsmagna cum laude = with high honorssumma cum laude = with highest honorsWhat that means with respect to Harvard and GPA, I have no idea. But I have to assume that it means he was somewhere near the top of his class, in what is among the most venerated law school in the world.
Or, as BK would put it, barely scraping by.
Do you really think he could falsely claim that on his CV and not be called on it by someone within the institution?
Really?
Pres. Obama has earned the lingering doubts I have towards him.
Forget whether or not you trust him. Do you think the world would sit silent if an easily falsifiable claim was made on his CV? That’s the sort of thing that would surface back when he was running for state senate, or in any one of the jobs he held prior to public office.
Or, I would hope it would.
It would be nice to see some transcripts. My first two jobs I had to release my transcripts.
