Perpetuem paste...help

Hows it done? I’m not having great success on my first try.

Two formulations for your experimentation: (1) 3 scoops Perpetuem and 1/4 cup water, or (2) 4 scoops Perpetuem and 1/3 cup water. I’ve got both written down, but I think #2 exceeds the capacity of a Hammer flask. At first it will seem as if you have an impossible amount of Perpetuem to ever mix fully, and in a way you’ll be right – stir as hard as you will, there will still be some lumps in the paste. But think of pancake batter, and that is usually lumpy as well. Nothing wrong with a few lumps, is there? (Maybe think “chunky” instead of “lumpy”.) What I prescribe above produces a fairly potent paste, so you might want to cut back on the Perpetuem to begin with. It is also fairly thick, and if thick doesn’t suit you that’s another reason to use more water. Ironically, I prefer Lava Gel partially because it is relatively thin, but for my Perpetupaste, I like it thick and chunky! Good luck with this - it’s great for longer distances.

Thanks!
