I understand she is fighting fire with fire - using some of his infantile name calling, demeaning-your-opponent tactics. But “Lock Him Up” is a step too far. Its a slippery slope.
The fact that Trump used political rallies to threaten political opponents with jail is a page directly out of the dictators handbook.
As this becomes the norm, liberal democracy in the US will be badly wounded.
It’s also that now there is a process on how to deal with a president’s wrongdoing. Impeachment.
If you do not use this process, why would anti trumpers think that the criminal court system would be used in the future.
Also my desire to put trump behind bars is around zero in comparison to removing him from office.

Especially when Trump will figure out how to go lower. If the democrats don’t start going full policy and why they will help people, instead of trump is a idiot meany head conversations they could lose this again. If they go with someone more center like Biden I think there are enough people sick of Trump who will vote for him just to get trump out. If they go full crazy with Bernie or similar they will make it even harder for themselves especially if they combine that will just attacking trump.
Personally, I would be fine putting trump in prison if he committed crimes, and others in a similar position would go to jail. By the counts of numerous prosecutors it seems that answer would be yes. (for the clinton folks out there, remember when Comey said no prosecutor would take this case, and there were not 1000 former prosecutors who said she should be tried)
however, what pelosi said was stupid because she has means to hold trump accountable now, and isnt.
