Pearl Izumi SLR cycling shoe

Does anyone have any experience with this product?

I just bought it from all3sports. I chose the wrong size and they’re sending me a new pair. They looked pretty sweet and the fabric was real comfy.

BTW, all3sports has excellent service. I screwed up my shoe size 3x! Friggin’ Euro sizing! (no offense to Euros, though.)

I haven’t seen them in anything other than this picture. Can you tell me if the shoe strap open towards or away from the drivetrain? From the picture, it looks like the strap would open toward the drive train. Can you or anyone else please confirm this? Nice looking shoe.
