Is it pretty spot-on?
Or is it recommended to go up a size?
I ride 41.5 Sidi’s, and currently running in 8.5 Asics GEL1080.

I sell them, pretty spot on with Asics sizing
.
Cool…that’s info I need.
Thanks!
Seconded. PI sizing is exactly the same as Nike and Asics for me. FWIW, before you buy full cost PI shoes, try searching Ebay for “Pearl Izumi XX.X” where XX.X= your shoe size. For instance, I search for “Pearl Izumi 10.5”. I say check there because you can find last year’s models cheap right now…I’ve gotten six pair now for $20/pair. That’s less than the cost of two pairs of my normal running shoes…
good point on the cheap last years models but I wouldn’t go any earlier than 2004 as the 03 shoes were kinda sketchy, 2005 is nicer than 2004 as well. They are new to the running market so every year they get a little better.
You can find some killer closeouts on old PI shoes, keep looking.
I had '03s and found them to be a half size too small. Still the best running shoes I’ve ever had.

FWIW, I just replaced a worn out pair of Kayano IX size 11.5 with Pearl Izumi syncroGUIDE size 12.
