Just wondering what kind of opinions people have on the pearl izumi tri shoes? I was going to get the shimano tri shoe but they won’t be available in my size until the new model comes out or something like that.
Although they are really comfy, stay away from them if you are racing. They’re not the easiest to put on when riding out of T1 with wet feet. Also, I managed to break the ‘I-Beam’ sole during a weeks training in Lanza last month. I’m 6’2 and 74 kgs, so not a power monster on the bike. I’m in the Shimano TR1’s now.
