I was reading R10C thread on assholes. He mentioned that he was wearing a Peaceful tribe T-shirt. Can someone please explain what PT is.

the “Peaceful Tribe” was a moniker that Tom Demerly (who else?) came up with to describe our little community. There is another quote on the shirt, “we are more the same than we are different”
Cervelo stepped up to produce LOTS of shirts, hats, etc. and all the proceeds from sales went to CAF (Challenged Athletes Foundation). Nice Headsweats hats, technical Cervelo black shirts, etc. I still have my black T, but gave my hat to miss kittycat after suffering through some horrible runs I made her do with me in the dead of winter as she missed the ordering (she earned it) 
Anyway, typical forum cyclical activity of the “old timers” staying around, new guys coming in (i.e. swimfan) and acting like the anonymous idiot poster pot-stirrer, etc. New guys leave and so on.
As with all forums - stick around and read. Learn. Doesn’t take too long to figure out who to read/listen to and who not to. I find this forum no different except that it is by FAR the most active forum I’ve ever heard of. Always new posts to read if one chooses. I’ve learned a LOT from here over the years. Tried to help many as well. Met lots of friends via ST as well - the best part.
Jordan and I were discussing the subject the other day and we’re making a batch of bike jerseys. They’ll be orange and in the front they will say:
“Team Nice Guys” and in a smaller font www.slowtwitch.com
