Finally got my rev master w/ power cranks set up (the ‘office’ gym is almost complete) and took a little spin.
At first, whwen I tried to pedal normally, my pedal stroke ended at the bottom. A couple of minutes of one-legged drills and that problem was solved. Then, when I tried to pedal with both legs again, I was doing two righty for every one lefty.
I’m sure with practice this will subside but was curious if any other pc users had experienced the same.
Only had time for a 15 minute spin, but I could definitely feel muscles I’d never used before.
Certainly sounds logical if you are right-handed/sided.
I can’t wait for mine to get here, it’s supposed to be today, but I’m not so sure DHL is going to pull it off in this storm. We are getting lots of snow up here right now.
Any pictures of your gym so we can see how it turned out?
sounds about right to me…luckily I was able to get it down to 5 right to every 4 left…man it feels weird the first couple of times…still not getting over my age old bad habits…this one is gonna take time kiddies.
Sounds like you will be one of the ones that has significant benefits from training on these things. I think the harder they are for you at the beginning, the quicker and more significant will be your gains. That’s just my guess…I’m not saying those that ride them almost normally for an hour within the first week won’t show any benefits, I’m just saying that people like you may have some really bad habits that PC’s will help correct.
