PC Interval Training Software help

I am looking for recommendations for a PC based interval training software. I’m tired of writing my workouts on a piece of paper and either having it unreadable from dripping sweat or lose count on which interval or time left.

Ideally it would be able to load custom workouts starting with a warmup, mainset, recovery and the cool down. Metrix like heart rate, power or cadence would be helpful. I’m sure computrainer and high end polars have this software but looking for another affordable option?

It would be nice to have this program run in the foreground with a dvd movie playing in the background on my laptop.

Hi Ironheart,
Our first units with software, programming intervals with timers and recovery would be the RS400 and CS400. You would create the interval parameters on your PC, save the intverval program(name it, like 2x20 min??) and then you upload it to the Polar device. Perfrom the session, watch will beep afte the warmup us complete, etc. When you have completed the interval session, you will download to your PC via Pro Trainer 5 software. I am not aware of every product out there, but I sure you will not find software with timers to play in the background of your PC while watching a DVD.
