Thanks Tom Wilkas and all those volunteers for another great season of Pat Griskus Triathlons.
Last nights sprint distance (following the Olympic distance race 2 1/2 weeks ago) was a terrific event: the 500+ competitors had a blast; the venue can’t be beat for country scenary; and the post race atmosphere, food and amusment park rides for the kids was the best.
It is the best event $-for-$ and volunteer-for-volunteer! It is amazing what you and your team pull off. It ain’t easy doing those two events so close to each other and in a small town. The growing attendance and buzz about the two races really is great and first timers have a ball. Seems they are just what is making the sport grow and giving the triathlon community such a great role in people’s lives.
