Hello everyone, wanted to post a picture of my new Parlee Tri Bike. Aero tubing with stealth-esque graphics scheme. Unidirectional carbon fiber and a nice clear coat finish the bike off. It’s built with SRAM Red, 3TTT Brezza aero bars, Selle San Marco Saddles, 808s with Tangente tubies. Look Keo Carbon pedals… Smooth as silk, fast and slippery in the wind… Weight as pictured with pedals is 15.95lbs.
Something you don’t see everyday. Carbon fiber seatpost clamp.
I have a new rule for myself. Everytime I see a bike pic posted on ST that’s nicer than my bike I immediately do 50 crunches. Although in this instance maybe I should do at least 125.
Come tri season I’ll still be riding the same ol bike but maybe I’ll at least be able to get into an ST approved aero position.
Wanted to post a picture, maybe to make everyone here jealous? Nice freakin’ bike. The black/white has kind of been made ubiquitous by the new Zipps, though.
Doesn’t look like the recession has affected your spending…perhaps you can start a non-profit Parlee group to hand out a fully loaded package to everyone on Slowtwitch.
That is a sweet rig! I really enjoyed going through the Parlee booth at TOC expo. Their bikes looked super nice and damn, they had some light frames there.
Very nice build and bike. I personally would take the Zipp decals off as they are just overkill and take away from a very beautiful bike. If you ditch the wheel decals then I would have said you have an amazingly beautiful build but with decals, it is alright.
That is just pure sex. Few questions though:
Would you mind sharing where you purchased the bike and if they have any other Parlee TT bikes built up on the floor?
Is this a stock bike or custom?
Looks like the seatpost clamp is different. Maybe I’m thinking of a different bike?
