I have a 6 month old and 2 year old. I have gotten more than 4 straight hours of sleep about 4 times in the last 6 months. Two nights ago I was up 6 times between 2 and 5 to put my daughter (2 yo) back to sleep and was woken up twice when the baby needed to be fed. I’m freaking tired. There I feel better.

The nice thing about having babies is that they eventually grow up and go on their own. (hopefully:-) Got one still in college, the other on her own (unless she decides to go back to college again)

Been there, done that with babies. Babies are a lot of work, but well worth it.

I am not saying I don’t like babies or how cute they are. I don’t like the parents who continually whine about how tired they are because their baby keeps them up at night. Well DUH!! What did you think they were going to do?
And then i have this friend who goes out to “meetings” until 11 or 12 at night and then whines all day the next day about how tired he was because he was on “baby duty” last night and have to get up every 2 hours…maybe you shouldn’t have gone out last night then dumb ass!!!

See, consider it practice for all of those whiny parents and then you have a reason to whine here about them. So really we’re all doing each other a service.
