Jesus Christ, I aided a para-athlete this weekend and was never so mortified at the reaction from fellow triathletes. I was yelled and even cursed at so many times I can’t count. Dude I know I can’t be in transition but I’m a para-athlete helper, totally within the rules. Even the RD didn’t know the rules and I had to explain. WTF how do these folks get USAT sanctioned.
If I get the chance to do this again should I get a T-shirt or something ? I really couldn’t concentrate on my task from all the dickhead comments.

maybe write “FU” in black marker on your arms as both disguise and revenge message at the same time? haha

Good Idea but even the race volunteers and spectators said something to me while I was in Transition.
