Does anyone know how long it took the top riders to climb Palomar today?
From the cattle grate or the burrito stand?

Don’t know if anyone else saw it, but as the leaders reached the top, the fans got real close. One of the leaders, might have been Schleck (hard to see), took a swing directly at the face of one of the fans.

Those fans were getting scary. I can totally see how the the riders would get frustrated enough to do that. It looked like the American fans were far less courteous to the riders than elsewhere in the world. I’d have slugged the stupid antler guy!
It was Rogers (Columbia) that took the swing.
One of the guys running fell and almost caused a crash, right after that is when he took a shot at one of them.
Too much running too close to the riders by the fans…
Did you see the buy with the thong…and his big ass…the announcers must have been smiling…but they said nothing!
What they needed was more guys doing one handed wheelies on fixed gears. At least this guy has some skills. Aloo of the others just looked like fools.
I saw the thong guy too and a few others who weren’t wearing much for clothes.
Didn’t the camera cut from the motorcycle to the helicopter right after the thong sighting?
Far too many people in various states of undress running much closer than I would think most of the riders would have liked.
