I’ll be in Palm Springs for a few days. Any recommendations regarding some good bike routes, trail runs etc? I am trying to do some solid bike miles before Wildflower.

Ride up the “Palms to Pines Highway” (Rte 74) out of Palm Desert. If you take Monterey Ave. toward the mountains, it becomes 74. I think it’s something like 2500 ft. of climbing, with spectacular views. Go early in the morning before the traffic gets bad. People like to test out the handling limits of their sports cars (and SUVs and RVs) on the twisties. Fun ride, though. Dress in layers - it’s a lot colder on top.
