Pairing an SRM head unit version 7

Hi

New member.
Basic question

I have bought a SRM 7 head unit
And want to know which pedal crank arms or pedals (with power meter) that the SRM 7 will ‘pair’ with

Want to go as cheap as possible please
Can’t afford the SRM cranks etc

So just wanted to get a single sided pedal arm (eg Ultegra 8100) or some power meter pedals

But want to ensure whatever I buy with pair with the SRM head unit version 7

(I’m not technical )

It should pair with anything that outputs an Ant+ signal.

I may be wrong but I think the SRM PC7 only pairs with power meters using the ANT+ protocol crank torque frequency thus only with SRM PMs. I think the PC8 is the first form SRM understanding all ANT+ protocols.
