i am wanting to color about half of my disk wheel and was wondering whether it would be a better idea to paint, or put a decal on it, or whether this matters much?
thanks.

IMHO, a Decal.
In a hi-jack attempt, what do you (others) use to remove the old decals by the vendor?
I am looking at doing this also…cooking oil?
we used to use wd-40 and then dish soap to clean them from our crew boats. worked well on my last bike frame as well. the baked on ones no idea though.
anyone else?
what i am tihnking is a solid white square about half the size of the disk.
thanks
I got decals from Tai (on this forum) and they look great
He mentioned that decals dont work well on lens type disks (the curves are too complicated)- but mine is a flat sided Renn, and it worked GREAT.
You cna search this forum to find tai

I would think the logistics of applying that much surface area in a decal without wrinkling would be a nightmare. I would find a paint to use, then could decal any graphics over that surface if needed in smaller areas.
