While riding today, i kep getting almost like a stiff neck. it almost hurt to watch where i was going. I never had this problem last year while riding, Does anybody have any suggestions? I dont know if I would need to raise or lower my seat, or maybe it was just a fluke, but riding sucked today.
It could be a number of things: Have you made any fit changes recently(aero bar positioning, saddle, stem-h bar, etc…), pushing a larger gear, wore a new helmet? Maybe you just strained your neck while sleeping and the riding triggered it? Did you just start riding you bike outdoors? I wouldn’t recommend you changing you saddle height… just try to back track and think of anything that you have changed recently. Or quite possibly, it may have been a fluke thing.
I’ve the same. Every year, early in the season, when I had an intensive training or triathlon/duathlon. To stressy on the bike. It hurts a few hours. Just relax. Don’t raise or lower your seat directly. When you’ve it again, then it’s time to think about fixes.
