When the P4 first came out everyone was bitching about the bottle but now that some time has passed what are your experiences.
its a great tool box…
Its taped into the frame i use it alot… but really i only use about a half a bottle on the bike in an olympic anyways so i use the between the bars bottle. easier to get to and quicker than any downtube or the p4 bottle.
Don’t really use it except to refill my other bottle on the back of the bike.
When it doesn’t eject**, it’s fine.
(**this has only happened to me 3x in total, and never in a race, but it ruined 2 bottles in doing so. At $20 per, I was bent for more than a little while about that)
There is definitely a learning curve in using it. Moreso w/ putting it back. Grabbing it is cake, after some practice.
Don’t think I’ll ever love it or anything, but it works, and it’s aero, and the bike is hella fast overall.
Getting it out - almost as easy as any other.
Putting it back - takes some practice, but not too bad.
