No surprise. On another note… I usually recommend not displaying stolen street signs in a public auction.

And on another note, why is his calendar on February?
you know it’s ‘lagit’, because the goofus spells so well…
why can’t people spell on their ebay ads?
You know I don’t really understand this. I must admit that I have no clue about ebay, but it does strike me as odd the gear that’s barely available at retail or not even available at retail can be seen for sale on eBay. How does this happen? I understand the other end of the pipeline - blowing out stuff that won’t sell, but this type of thing seems bizare!

You can’t get buyers into a bidding war in a retail shop. You can do so in an auction.
You think instead of listing the 2nd cat. as misc bike parts he would/should list in the triathlon section. Oh well…
Again - I am trying to understand the logistics and timing of this. As we all know, P3C’s are a fairly scarce right now. So, someone has bought this at retail after waiting months and months( or perhaps proccured it through some other channel??) and then immediately put it up on eBay? Why? He didn’t like the bike? Not the right fit? Wants to flip it and make a buck? I don’t get it.
I guess that I am just a slow, old-school luddite. I like to go to the store. Buy something. Take it home and use it.

I know a guy that makes a good living buying new, exotic sports cars them selling them to rich suckers that don’t want to wait the year to get them. Usually adds $50 to $75,000 to the sticker and people pay it.
Read the seller’s decription. It’s explained well in my opinion.
I see Clarence is the top bidder - I think I’ll bid $3800 just to drive up the cost ;).
All is fair in love and war…and buying bikes!
Wow, only 26 miles. Doesn’t seem like too much time was spent trying to find the “sweet spot.”
Does anyone else think it’s odd that there’s a CSC logo on the seatstay?

THere was a thread a while back where the decals on the P3C were discussed, Gerard said that some had the CSC decals whilst others didn’t so no reason to question…I think.
All of the P3C have CSC logos-- just like the R2.5 team. The difference is the first batch have non-removable logos–under the clear coat-- where the current and the R2.5 are removable stickers.
