At 6ft, will I fit the 58cm 2011 P3?
This bike is just a bike to help me get the ball rolling with my training and I will re evaluate later on down the track (a few short months even). This bike is just an absolute bargain.
Essentially, am I wasting my time even trying?
I’m 5’ 10" on a 2011 56cm P3, I like the fit. I do have long arms so I think this plays a factor. It may be worth the gamble
I’m 5’9.5 and ride a 51cm P3. It all depends. That 58cm P3 is really long, so if you’re a short torso it could be quite a reach. I’d definitely try it out if possible.
I am 6’ too, and I once owned a 2002 56cm P3 and then a 2004 58cm P3. I bought the 58cm because it was a great deal, it had DA, great wheels and I liked the red and white paint scheme. But it was too big (long) for me and gave me back issues. It might work, but I would say don’t buy it just because it is a great deal…make sure it fits you.
I’m a sliver under 6ft, and the original alu P3 which came in 55" was perfect.
The P3C in 56" works fine, but I’ve always wondered if the 54" would be better.
58" would be too big; I wouldn’t buy one unless to strip parts.
One more data point. I’m 6’1" and fit a 56cm P3 quite well.
