I just received my P3 frame minus carbon seatpost. Not only that but I didnt get any seatpost. Has anyone else experienced this. You would think that Cervelo would realize that when people order framesets they intend to build up the bike and ride it. The icing is that they are including seatposts with complet bikes. Also I had thought that the new forks were going to have carbon steerer tube, am I wrong.
As much as it sucks, especially upon the excitement of a new bike, companies make mistakes. One of the things that continues to impress me about Cervelo is the public visibility and accessibility the company has. I’d send gerard@cervelo.com an email, I’m sure he’ll set things right.
I just got another e-mail saying the same thing, or maybe that was you (although it was an Eric P, not Eric L). Anyway, we would never ship a frame without a seatpost, unless we made an assembly mistake. Not much I can do on a Saturday, but please e-mail me your address, framesize and the shop you got it from so we can send out a post on Monday.
