quick question. does anyone know if the p2sl is compatible with the shimano ultegra 6700? if so, I’m looking at getting the 6750 crankset on there. do i need to do anything special when it comes to bottom bracket?
btw, I’m lazy and will just get the parts and have my local lbs assemble it. my 3 month old won’t allow me to do any bike maintenance.
Yep, ultegra cranks are no problem. Just did that on my new to me P2sl. Pulled the FSA 175 crankset and swapped in an ultegra compact 170. Picked up a new ultegra BB and put it all back together.
It took less than an hour from turning on the garage lights to truning them off, it’s way too easy to pay someone to do it…
Is the BB English?
Yes it’s English threaded and the Shimano BB will work fine. I installed an Ultegra crank on my P2 to replace the FSA/MegaExo one.
