Looking to purchase one of these frames. Curious about and feedback. I know the response and feelings of the P2C…however; everybody has one. Looking specifically about the 08 K-Factor SL in comparison. Similar in price range for the frame but curious about the ride itself.
I love my k-factor, but don’t have enough experience on other bikes to tell you it is better or worse than others.
I don’t have any experience with the K-factor or the P2C, but I have a Kalibur and love it. Stiff and comfortable, plus, and this may not seem like a big deal to you, but it has 2 sets of water bottle bosses, so you don’t have to dork around with behind the seat bottle launchers. That drove me nuts with my P2K. Also, the Kalibur is very stable…I can ride it no hands without any issues. I’ve had it up to 50mph on downhills, and had no issues either.

Spot, thanks for the update on the Kalibur. Mine should be arriving this week. I can’t wait. I like the point about “riding no hands”. Its not that I do this much, but I like to be able to put on and remove a raincoat while riding without the fear of putting the bike in the ditch! 2 sets of water bottle bosses are also a huge requirement for me…I want to see my bottles at all times. On a standard descent that I regularly do in training, my terminal velocity is typically in the 68-72 kph range (depends on wind and barometric pressure and air temp), but my fastest speeds have always been with 2 bottle holders…not one and it is not because the bottles were full or empty. I think the 2 bottle holders on a small frame might actually “fill in” the entire front triangle !
No problem. Its an awesome bike, and I’m sure you will love it. It is as easy to ride no-handed as my Cervelo SLC, and that’s with the seat shoved pretty far forward on the rails. I hit 50mph on the descent into Keene, and it was rock solid. Did you get the new 2007 model with the white paint and the internal cabling?
