It’s one of the get out of jail free card phrases that distracts attention. Calling someone anti-semitic immediately puts someone on the defensive and they have to defend themselves and the real issue is obscured.
We have a number of those. Any reference to Hitler is another, so is the term “insurgent” which now is thrown around to justify any potential civilian deaths in areas of conflict. Of course the word terrorist is also high on the list.
All of these are used so often they lose meaning when they really are one of the above.
Point is, there are many STr’s that demand OWS is shown some kind of respect. I have seen nothing more than an amalgamation of leftist kooks, haters of capitalism and hopeless dweebs.

Dangerous time for any element of the protests that are serious about changing or improving America in it’s current make-up. It’s the level that the protests are at currently that makes them attractive, and possibly ripe for hijacking. We know all the most revolutionary forces in America are well represented in the crowds. As to Jew haters, the American Nazi Party recently endorsed OWS.
