For anyone in Chicago for ITU this weekend, come join the Lake Monsters at 5:15am at Ladder 1/ North Ave Beach for a fun and friendly group OWS. We typically swim about a mile with an easy 1/2 mile rest stop/jump out point. Lots of fun.

We meet at 5:15am and jump off at sunrise (provided there is one). I’m looking forward to the swim because I haven’t gone solo all week due to the fog, but will be excited to jump in with a group.
I bet! I haven’t ran down there in a while but last month it was nice and trashy! I would head over to Foster or Montrose but I don’t know how easy it is to get out and swim. Just moved to Chicago so not sure if there are buoys swimmers need to stay inside like in Evanston when there are lifeguards.
