I know the measure at 38cm but how wide can you get the arm rest. I hear you can use profile F-19 pads but how much more width do you get? Looking to upgrade from Profile T-2s. Do you think I can make them work?
Thanks

Hi,
if you have to ask…
they may not be for you.
get your reach righted and get narrow.

I can not remember how wide I had mine set at but you can use the Profile armrests. The spacing on the armrest is 25mm center to center for the bolts. I changed out mine for HED Carbon armrests but had to slot the opening to get to 25mm spacing as Oval and HED have 20mm spacing
I have the reach figured out but its the width of the pads I am worried about. After reading all the reviews I was wondering just how narrow are they.
I don’t have specs on width, reach, etc. of the TT’s but like you I went from the Profile Design T-2 to the Easton Attack TT’s about 2 months ago. I am 5’9" ride a 52cm Felt DA and went with medium bars. Haven’t had any issues at all with the width and so far no issues with the standard pads although might get Fizik gel pads once season rolls around.
The actual width is dependent on the arm pads you run…so many ST-ers are running F22s
Hopefully they will chime in.
They completely alter the bar for the better IMO.

The actual pedestals that you mount the elbow rests on are 6 inches apart
.
Be prepared to change out the arm rests as the ones provided are worthless. I say this after owning many tri bikes and only being 24, so i’m not just a weak person who can’t handle crappy armrests…they really are pathetic. I switched mine to the profile design F-22 and it is much better.
I used them during the first part of last year. The bars are very compact. I had to get the Large and I am not a big fellow (see picture below of me using them at the U.S. Navy SuperSEAL Triathlon last year) The pads are minimal so they are a good sprint/oly cockpit but may get a trifle uncomfy at distances much longer.
They are light and stiff though, and they are nicely finished and look great. They have a nice, slight ski bend which I liked.
