Ow, ow, ow -- %$^& Foot pain while cycling

So this is my first year of long stuff…starting to get into those 5/6 hour rides. So far, so good, other than neck/back pain, and riding in the blast furnace that was southern Ontario this past weeked.

One thing is killing me, though – foot pain. Seems like the outside/sole area of my feet absolutly starts to kill, to the point I have to get off the bike for a minute. Just on that outer part, not towards the inner part of the foot.

Any suggestions?

Might want to try some different shoes…I have had this problem with SIDIs but never with my Shimano cleats.

Those slow molding othotics (~$25) might help–after you try the wedges.
