It’s excellent. I got mine from WorldCycling.com as part of one of their package deals. It is definitely a great movie, on or off the trainer.
Wonderful dvd, enjoyed each minute of it.
I guess I’ll have to be the lone dissenting voice so far. I’m a roadie through and through and I rushed to get my copy of Overcoming. I thought it was a complete snore. If you watched any of The Lance Commercials on OLN over the last couple of years, you’ve seen all this type of thing before. It’s just that Overcoming covers all the same ground with Bjarne Riis (way less interesting and charismatic than Johan Bruyneel, IMHO) and Bobby Julich (thank goodness Lance doesn’t whine, whine, whine like that) and Ivan Basso (who I came to like a bit less after watching this). There were a few interesting insider things regarding the interactions between teams, but there wasn’t really anything new here. So Bjarne takes his boys to boot camp. BFD.

I got mine last year from the CSC website. From the perspective of non cyclists, I think this is an interesting film. So much so, i plan on using it to illustrate team dynamics and leadership in my MBA classes. Of course, we will see how tolerant these folks are to 100 minutes of cycling! At least we are in Italy, so that should help…
