Is there a good outlet for selling a bike beside’s craigslist and ebay?

I’ve heard there are some bike brokers around but can’t seem to find any. With ebay you have to pay them as well as paypal and the type of bikes we have the fee’s can be a little steap
Is the irony here intentional? I noticed that the post above was your twenty-fifth. That being the case, I can think of a pretty decent way to sell a bike.

I heard from one of my LBS that there is a company that will buy your bike so you basicly trade it in and get get like half the price of what you paid for it dependinsg of how old and the condition. My exp with craigslist and ebay is you get some “special people” wanting to buy it and you waste your time or get screwed. I was screwed selling a laptop on ebay and lost the money and there was nothing i could do.
I’m stunned. How does this happen? I wonder what it’s like in that world.

That sounds like that outfit that was hooked up with American Bicycle Group. They would take your bike in trade and the proceeds could go to a bike in their group - QR, Merlin, Lightspeed. I can’t think of their name.
