Truly beautiful, though worth the extra coin over and above the Team R2.5? I am now the proud owner of an R2.5, which just arrived at my LBS. Haven’t ridden it yet, and I’m not sure if I can give a review of it, since I’ve never owned a bike this nice before. One thing I can say is that the pictures of it online don’t even come close to doing it justice - the carbon is absolutely beautiful, and the tube shapes which look round in the posted pictures are not at all. You get the idea from online pictures that these are just round tubes stuck together but from seeing it in real life it is clear that a lot of thought went into how the bike is put together.

“worth the extra coin over and above the Team R2.5?”

That sure makes you wonder what a few grams of weigh is worth. The R2.5 is a beautiful bike. Unfortunately I can’t afford one of those either. I’ll have to do the next best thing and purchase a carbon TCR frame off ebay to replace my aluminium one. At least it’ll still be compact and carbon design, even if it doesn’t have those sexy R2.5 lugs.

Gotta love anything named after a town in New Jersey!!!

So if I go with this over an R2.5, how many extra wings can I eat?

“Not worth it…” - you guys have your priorities all messed up!

Or more likely the town in France
