So…guilt by association and unspecified lies? I’m just gonna go ahead and guess you have a color problem.

Have you ever been to Chicago? Do you know anything about Chicago politics?
I thought he handled the heckler pretty well - gave it right back with humor.
Thin skinned indeed. A little historical perspective here: http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/presidents-self-pity
Hey, I hadn’t watched this clip till now, and I think Obama did fine in dealing with this rude and obnoxious heckler. Does not change the bigger, and troubling, arc of this admin, but I’ve no problem with Obama in this particular interaction.
The difference of note there, is that GWB’s bravado and contempt were not aimed at those in the US who disagreed with his policies.
You really have selective memory. But I’ll throw one of MANY examples at you.
Do you remember a guy named Scooter who got CONVICTED of a felony aimed at one of President Bush’s non-believers who outed one of many many lies, and in this case about the WMD in Iraq? This is one example of where his contempt was directly aimed at those who disagreed with this policies - so much so that people got convicted, there was a cover up of more felonies, and it shut others up.

haha, good one dude.

He very much reminded me of Reagan in his response.
I’ve got to tell you, I was really expecting something bad to happen in that video. That was fucking lame! Where can I buy me some of those crazy glasses that the ditto heads wear when they watch Obama speak?
Funny, after I hit post I saw the word “Palin” out of the corner of my eye. Let me guess…they want quiet dignity OR stupid and folksy, but definitely not humor…well, accept for Reagan.
These guys are such a joke.

Wow you must have went to the same training as Obama. Thank you for proving my point
yes, that quiet dignity when Reagan told a heckler to shut up or when Cheney told an adversary to go f@ck himself.
Frankly, I have a less of a problem with Obama taking on a heckler and responding as opposed to the GWB method of hand selecting your crowd and then having security whisking any hecklers away—especially when they are asking harder questions than the press.
I love how, in this room, we find a way to excuse the misdeeds of one by bringing up the misdeeds of others. What’s so attractive about that tack? Or is it just reflexive defense of one upon whom so many have invested their hopes? I saw it as well in the supporters of Mr. Obama’s predecessor and in several presidents before that man.
Well your OP does say “Our President: The Thinnest-Skinned Man EVER.” Wouldn’t examples of other people doing the same or worse be a good counter argument? At best you could say “Our President: As Thin-Skinned as many other Presidents before him.”
Where can I buy me some of those crazy glasses that the ditto heads wear when they watch Obama speak?
Barry - They’re on the rack, right next to the glasses that the libs wear that make everything the messiah does seem perfect, even as he accelerates us into a fiscal disaster of unprecedented proportion with idiotic policy decisions.
This isn’t a football game - they’re idiots, even if they are on your “team”. Partisanship won’t solve these problems, it will only make them worse.

Well, when a good number of the posts insinuate we have hit a new low not touched upon by the last four presidents, that makes it an easy target. I didn’t vote for Obama, but making it out like our last few presidents had “quiet dignity” in comparison is pretty weak. I can see slamming Obama on his negligent response to the oil spill or disagreeing with his health care policies, but getting bent out of shape because of how he put a heckler in their place seems pretty petty in comparison.
i can’t believe you would have the gall to talk about our president’s skin! just because he’s not a dark african american doesn’t make his skin any thinner.
racist!
you must be one of those teabagging neo-nazi’s who want a return to core principles of american freedom. yes, i’m talking about the Constitution. you know, that charter of negative liberties.
