OT: XP Help!

Hello! As some of you may recall, I was having some network difficulties the other day. Well I’m closer to making things work now, but I’m not quite there yet. Here’s the skinny:

My networking only works when I have my XP machine in Safe Mode. I can see everything and everybody and vice versa. Once I go into Normal mode, nuthin’ works.

Help before I have a $900 boat anchor!

Safe-mode doesn’t load up any “extras.” My guess is that the XP firewall is your problem. Turn that off in normal mode and give it a try. Turn off any other firewall software as well. If you’ve done that, and this is redundant, my apologies.
