OT - wheel shipping cost in Canada

Hello,

Would any of you know of the shipping cost and best options for sending a (rear) wheel between two cities in Canada? I’m planning to buy a 2nd hand wheel, and was looking into shipping cost with Canada post, Purolator, or another courier service.

Thanks for any tips…

It’s based upon size, weight and if your want express or regular shipment. Best to contact the shipper. You can call on the phone with the dimensions and they’ll give you a price.

I sold a few wheels on ebay and shipped them within Canada. I think I paid $25 including insurance to ship with Canada Post. I think it took about 4 or 5 days to get to their destination. I checked the rates online with the other couriers and they seemed more expensive. Probably got charged on the size of the box because the weights are so light.

I sold one a couple of years ago and sent it Canada Post within Ontario. If I remember correctly it cost around $15.

Thanks for your replies.

Cheers,

Laurent
