While Apple designs the inner workings of their products, the don’t really design a lot of the outside portion of their own products. There is a design firm they work with who comes up with a lot of their product packaging, which is to say the material that covers the inner working of the IPOD, etc.

I am pretty sure they are shooting for a November roll-out… there has been talk they may not even make that timeframe though.

Hmm, nice. I stand corrected. I just spoke to a friend who works at Target, and they have been told that they should be prepared to prep the store for a “large, very important” shipment of product coming in to the store around Friday…

No more problems with short battery life, recharges your cellphone battery, media storage, flashlight, voice recorder, FM radio, video player, audio recorder as well as the usual mp3 functions. Sadly I doubt it will have the impact it deserves or anything close to that of the ipod because: it’s not trendy!
