This is a genuine pic my friend took on the morning of 26th December in Ko Lanta in Thailand. Thankfully he and all in the resort were all ok. The wave was no where near as powerful as in other parts of the region.

The following picture was of his knees as he was running in the opposite direction of the beach.

Sobering stuff.

Lots of camera phone traffic on that site, also tons of asian traffic some of it not so pg, definetly not a work safe surf.
