Guess nobody should be surprised that Rupert won the million on the audience vote. Would expect he won by a land slide.
What was it that Johnny Fairplay said about now being a professional wrestler? He must be a manager or something since he’s such a skinny little guy. He’s gotta be the perfect villain.

He probably got about 35,000,000 of the 38,000,000 votes. He’s also the only one who deserved it, if by “deserved” we mean, was honest in dealing with people, worked hard, and was an all around supportive guy. The thing about the show that is telling is that our measure for your success in the game/worthiness to win is based on your ability to act like you are friends with people, then stab them in the back.
Not surprising indeed, but well deserved.
Johnny scumbag plays one of those villian-type manager guys who struts around the stage inciting the audience’s rage. He seems perfectly suited to it.
What surprises me most about the whole thing is the number of people who are actually getting deals out of this. It is, basically, just a game show. The talent/idea pool in hollywood must be drained if the networks want to televise Rob and Amber’s wedding. Maybe they’ll televise the divorce, too.
The wife and I were talking about that. Our only hope is that the money and exposure don’t ruin him. I’d hate to read how he left his wife for Jerri, or some stupid crap like that. (I feel blasphemous just typing that.)
I can’t wait for the “Be like Rupert” T-shirts, the “What would Rupert do?” bumper stickers, etc.
