I’m so glad those girls finally saw through Johnny Rotten and b.s. Burton and stuck together to bring them down. Did you see “Fair Play’s” face after Burton got voted out? Love it! (The jury was smiles and giving knuckles all around too!) And the guys… what a couple of arrogant, ignorant bastards.
I’m liking Sandra for the million dollars. I think she’s played the best of the three women.
How can you like Sandra? She throws out the food in a revenge act when Rupert got the boot and talked smack about not being loyal to their alliance and while this was going on everyone tore a strip off of Krista who is supposedly Sandra’s close friend and she doesn’t have the guts to own up to anything. Not to mention the fact that the vindictive witch was planning on sabotaging the rest of the group when she thought she was next to go. I know the game is about alliances and strategy but her actions are just plain rotten. Darrah has my vote. She is the wolf in sheep’s clothing and I can’t see any of the rest beating her in any challenges unless they make it something really cheap. She deserves the win.
True about Sandra… and like other “enfants terribles” on Survivor she’s played it well enough to make it this far. Until her recent immunity challenge wins, Darrah’s just ridden coattails.
The girls have the strength now, and Darrah and Sandra are steering the ship. No one wants to go against Lil in the end. She’ll be gone. So will Johnny. Neither of them have won immunity ever, as I recall. Sandra is smarter and craftier than Darrah. The jury know D’s ridden coattails under the radar, and will think Sandra’s played the game better.
The name of the game is Survivor: Outwit, Outplay, Outlast
Sandra’s kind of psycho wanting to sabotage the camp if she was going to be voted out. I would want her to win IF she hadn’t been a fool and trusted john a few episodes back when he swore on his grandmother (he’s going to hell for that).
Lill is too naive and weak. She’s the ultimate coattails rider. I don’t think she’s that strong of a force to go up against in the final two. For one thing, she’s already been voted off once. I wouldn’t give the million to anybody that got a second chance. It was a good twist to watch on tv, but I hope the jurors feel the same and deny her the money on her “second chance” if she gets there.
John’s a sorry a$$ chump!
Darrah has been able to lay low and win at the important times. She may not be calling the shots around the camp, but who says you have to.
Final two will be Darrah and Sandra, with Darrah taking home the mill.
I admit, I am addicted to this show as well. That John is nothing but low class and doesn’t really think about what he is saying. What girl would ever want to go out with him with the chauvenistic things he said about woman tonight.
My pick for the final two, Darrah and John. If I were one of the girls, I would want to take John to the final jury, no one likes him and they have the final vote. Lil will be next to go, she’s been tough to hang this long, but has avoided getting voted off again up to this point because there has always been someone else more strategic that needed to be voted off.
Now who was let down when the average Joe didn’t win on Tuesday night?
While I despise John, as is intended, that’s his goal, I agree about Lil.
The sad thing about John is that after the last couple of episodes, you kind of have to respect him. He is playing against human nature’s lowest and basest characteristics, and time and time again, he has won out. The Crista/Sandra turnover two weeks ago is an example. How could they not know they were next?
The thing that makes Lil worse than John, besides being a crybaby and a whiner, is that she will sit there crying about how bad she feels about it while stabbing someone in the back. At least with John you know he’s going to turn on you. Lil acts like a total victim of circumstances and takes no responsibility for her actions. Example: Crying when Rupert got voted out. Hello?!? You wrote his name down too!
I know it’s only a TV show, and that ‘reality’ has to be italicized, quoted, and asterisked, but it is a depressing commentary on human nature.
I think Rupert deserves the money; he’s an honest, stand up guy. He could never have won, but if he weren’t there, everyone else would have been eating Darah by now. Here’s how he wins: In the last episode, Jeff Probst brings back the entire jury for a Pugil Stick Death Match. Last Man Standing. Put the $1M in a big pile with the people in a circle around it, and watch with glee as Rupert clubs every last one of those .
You go, Rup! You’re my boy!!!
I can’t believe I’m talking about this. Somebody club me.
The word is that Rupert will be in the All Stars Survivor starting immediately after the Super Bowl. I hope so. THAT is going to be an awesome season of Survivor.
It’s true. My wife is all over that. The All-Star Survivor cast will have pretty much all the good people who were willing, along with a couple of foils for you to hate. We haven’t watched the last several seasons(not since “that Jerri b1tch” was on, lording over her mindless clique week after dreadful week) but this one has turned out to be fairly compelling, what with the orchestrated twists and all. The monkey wrench twists have definitely confounded some people’s plots.
My wife is a survivor addict, I watch it when I want to wuss out of Master’s on Thursday nights. This Panama show has been pretty entertaining and Johnny’s fake grandma death will down as one of the best “out dirtbag” ploys in TV reality show history!
Now Joe Average was pretty entertaining too; enjoyed Malena’s (sic?) internal battles over ripped abs or men with personalities (too bad she doesn’t do triathlons or she’d get the best of both worlds…)
But I knew that she’d go with the pretty boy in the end… everytime she had the chance she was ramming her throat down his windpipe – the biological attraction was too much. Big question is… how much money will ABC soak off them as the relationship marches onward? (and boy I would have liked to have seen what happened in that jet after they took off).
Johnny Rotten unfortunately will not be next. If I am Sandra, Darrah or Lill, I want to be sitting next to him the final 2, cause there is no way anyone except for Burton will vote for him to win. If you can take him with you to the final 2, you’re sure to win the million.
I agree John should be the one sitting next to you or the final two. It should be fun watching John trying to convince each of the girls to keep him for this reason. However, I would not put it past the girls to toss him anyways. I believe the girls may let their emotions/fairplay outplay this strategy.
I am not so sure that this is as safe a strategy as it appears. Back in the first season everyone hated Richard Hatch, but he ended up winning in large part due to the others realizing he had outwitted, outlasted, and outplayed them.
It is not unrealistic to say that Johnny Fairplay, though a total jerk, is not outwitting, outlasting, and outplaying. He has made it this far without many physical skills and many people disliking him.
It is kind of funny that I read this forum daily, but one of the few topics I felt I could contribute to is a show I usually do not admit that I watch.
Johnny Rotten may be able to beat a couple of the ladies. He maybe an ass but you have to appreciate his ability to convince others he is on their side.
I too was sick of Lill by the end. I hated Jon all the way through, but if Lill picked him for the final two, I would have gone with Jon. At least Jon played the game, whereas Lill was riding other people’s coat tails the entire way.
