OT: Statistics question. What sample size do I need?

I am preparing for an exam in 1 week time. I have a computerized library of 1330 multiple choice questions with only one right answer per question. I am in the process of doing multiple exams but I do not want to sit down for 100 questions at a time. Does anyone know what the confidence interval would be if I can average 85% on a sample of 20 questions?

Thanks

Well with the mu, and the hum and the ho, you should with a degree of confidence and standard deviation crack that bad boy wide open.

I only have a foggy memory of those terms from University days. Unfortunately when I was taking statistics at university, British Columbia was also the world’s leading producer of marijauna. (j/k)

15.54, with 95% confidence level

20.45, with 99% confidence level
.

It has been so long since I have had to do stats that I don’t know if you are serious or not.

Just finished biostats last year, so pretty serious, but I’m no math whiz.

Thanks. Appreciated.

No problem and good luck!
