Ot ; living by yourself

i need to find a new place to live, and me and my roommates are having trouble. we got 2 weeks to find a place now, and i’m considering living by myself.

Discus, Shotput, and Javelin… throwing events. I felt like being a smartass when i saw ‘discuss’.

On a more serious note. I had some roommate issues. I chose to live alone. Its not so bad depending on the situation. I had numerous friends in the complex I chose to move to, so it wasn’t a big deal to me. Its def a ton more expensive. But if the cost isnt a major issue to you, living alone isnt so bad.

In my bachelor days I much preferred living alone than with other guys. The only reason I shared accomodation with other dudes was because it was cheaper. It’s just much nicer to have your own space. You’ll probably prefer it once you get settled.

nothing beats living alone!!!

"nothing beats living alone!!! "

Except living with a woman. My preference at least.

Had the same problem recently and decided to go it alone. MUCH better having your own place - if the extra $$ aren’t a problem.

I’ve been living alone for two years. I like it.

I still have roomate problems, tho…

No you didn’t!

Yes I did!

Don’t talk to me like that.

I’ll talk however I want to talk.

Oh, Yeah?

Yeah!

<<See what I mean, those two guys could never get along>>

Brian you must still be taking pain meds? lol

in my experience roommates rarely work out. i had an experience in college with a girl that was so crazy…after that i lived alone in college and never looked back. it’s just so much easier on so many levels.

so i say go for it. leave the troubles behind. you’ll enjoy it so much more–even if you are in college. makes the romantic life easier logistically too.

Live alone.

If you can afford it buy a house in a nice neighborhood. You will have mostly nice neighbors who will watch out for you.

Get yourself a cat or two. Much more fun than roommates

When I lived by myself, I used to talk to myself all the time. When I started answering myself, I knew I needed to get married (the benefits of a full-time roommate of the opposite sex being much preferable to a roommate of the same sex).

when I lived by myself I would talk to my dog, and sometimes he would answer.

Fulla- I liked living alone and recommend it if you can swing it. You will not live alone forever, so it is good to have that experience in life.

Either alone or with someone of the opposite sex that has same interests. It is always nice to have a female around even if there is no sexual attraction, despite the anti-girlfriend/girl post. If you have no problems getting lonely, go for it. If you do, maybe get a cat. Good luck.

roomates are mandatory in college but after that live alone.

If you can handle the rent, live alone. Save sharing a place for when you’re married…

The Other TD

Living alone rules. Absolutely rules. The primary drawback is you get spoiled by it. Once you do it you never want it any other way.
